OMUTHIYA, 22 APR (NAMPA) – Twenty-six schools operate without potable water in the Oshikoto Region, the Directorate of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture in the region has reported.
Deputy Director of Programmes and Quality Assurance, Thomas Kalimbo told Nampa in an interview on Tuesday that these schools rely on the Directorate of Rural Water Supply and NamWater to ferry water to the schools.

WINDHOEK, 04 June 2026 - The Roads Authority (RA) will install speed humps at selected locations along the B1 Western Bypass and a section of the A1 Road in the Khomas Region from Friday, following a rise in pedestrian-related crashes that have claimed lives on both routes.
