Pensioner drowns in river at Kavango West

NKURENKURU, 11 DEC (NAMPA) – A 69-year-old man allegedly drowned in the Kavango River at Nankudu village on Monday.
According to Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga of the Namibian Police Force, it is alleged that the deceased left the house around 17h00 with the intent to go check on his fishing net at the river, but never returned home.
