Swedish telecoms giant Ericsson on Tuesday reported a 12 percent fall in second quarter net profit to 4.1 billion kronor (370 million euros), affected by a 6 per cent decline in sales and rising component costs. Turnover fell to 52.7 billion kronor (4.8 billion euros), partially down to unfavourable exchange rate movements and one-off licence income which underpinned revenue a year ago, the group said in a statement.
