Over 5 000 police officers to be deployed for elections

RUNDU, 25 NOV (NAMPA) – Some 5 042 police officers will be deployed to 2 521 polling teams covering 4 677 polling stations countrywide in preparation for the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Wednesday.
This is according to a joint media statement issued by the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) and the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) on Sunday.
