KATIMA MULILO, 18 NOV (NAMPA) – The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) Zambezi Regional Electoral Officer, Lesley Simwanza says the training of 1 003 polling officials is going well.
His pronouncement comes amid circulating reports that some polling officials were allowed to attend training although they did not apply for the temporary jobs.
Speaking to Nampa on Monday, Simwanza said all those who are being trained were properly recruited.
