Man drowns trying to cross into Angola at Makena village

RUNDU, 04 NOV (NAMPA) - A 30-year-old man drowned in the Okavango River while trying to cross into Angola from Makena village in the Kavango East Region on Saturday.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Crime Investigations Coordinator in the region, Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu told Nampa the incident occurred around 14h30 on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Mukoya Mukoya.
