WINDHOEK, 17 OCT (NAMPA) -The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has announced that there will be no independent presidential candidates in the 2024 general elections, as all the hopefuls, Ally Angula, Else Chen and Jeremia Kaambo, have been disqualified.
All the three presidential hopefuls who submitted their nominations with the electoral commission failed to meet the constitutional requirements.
