MARIENTAL, 06 SEP (NAMPA) – A 28-year-old man has been arrested following a vehicle accident on Thursday in the Takarania informal settlement at Mariental which caused a power outage.
The incident occurred around 07h00 and involved a collision with the main NamPower electricity supply line, resulting in a full-day power outage across Mariental.
This was confirmed by Chief Inspector Charles Goagoseb of the Namibian Police at Mariental.
