Russia's External Debt Stands at Just 2.6% of GDP, Total Public Debt at 17.5% - Putin

MOSCOW, October 25 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's external debt stands at just 2.6% of the country's GDP, while its total public debt is 17.5%, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Sunday​​​. Putin noted that systemic errors made by the leaders of European nations across various policy areas have led to high levels of external borrowing.
