US Consumer Sentiment Index Falls to 48 Points in October - Data

WASHINGTON, October 23 (RIA Novosti) - The University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index, which reflects the level of household confidence in the US economy, fell to a final reading of 48 points in October, down from 48.1 points a month ago, according to the university's website.
