A renowned online backer of Mali's military junta has been charged with "undermining" the state and "defamation", the anti-cybercrime unit told AFP. Badra Aliou Dicko, nicknamed Bad the Malian, has been a fervent supporter via social media of the military authorities, who came to power in coups in 2020 and 2021 in a country plagued by unrest since 2012.
