A former Irish Olympic swimming coach who sexually abused four girls in the 1970s and 1980s was handed a 15 and a half year jail term in Dublin on Monday. George Gibney, who was extradited from the United States last year to face trial, was found guilty earlier this year of 39 indecent assault offences and one attempted rape charge between 1971 and 1981.
