Tokyo stocks end lower on profit-taking

TOKYO, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks ended lower Thursday, as investors locked in gains following a recent rally, while rising bond yields weighed on market sentiment. The benchmark 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 993.60 points, or 1.42 percent, from the previous session at 69,042.11.
