G7 agrees to release up to 100 million barrels of oil from reserves

Paris (dpa) - The leaders from G7 nations have agreed to coordinate the release of oil emergency reserves in response to soaring fuel prices, calling for 100 million barrels of crude oil to be released over four months starting immediately, the group said in a joint statement on Friday.
