Forex reserves in India fall for 3rd consecutive week

NEW DELHI, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves fell by 18.343 billion U.S. dollars to 747.557 billion U.S. dollars during the week ended Sept. 25, the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), said Friday. This was the third consecutive week the forex reserves fell. During the preceding week, they had fallen by over 14.8 billion U.S. dollars.
