Namibia’s economy grows 4.8% in second quarter

WINDHOEK, 01 OCT (NAMPA) – Namibia’s economy expanded by 4.8% in the second quarter of 2026, supported by stronger services activity, agriculture and increased investment, according to the Bank of Namibia’s (BoN) September Quarterly Bulletin released on Wednesday.
The growth was an improvement from 3.1% recorded in the preceding quarter and 1.7% during the corresponding quarter of 2025.
