WINDHOEK, 01 OCT (NAMPA) - President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on Wednesday unveiled a 176.29-carat natural diamond recovered by Namdeb at its Southern Coastal Mine in Oranjemund.
Nandi-Ndaitwah said this was the largest diamond of its kind discovered at the mine in the past two decades, describing the discovery on 10 May 2026 as a significant milestone for Namdeb and a source of pride for Namibia.
