Russia to Consider Visit of New UN Secretary General to Moscow – Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW, September 22 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will work on the issue of inviting the next UN secretary general to Moscow after he takes office in 2027, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Alimov told RIA Novosti. Alimov noted that the new secretary general should begin work on January 1, 2027. For some time the secretary general will be assembling his team and meeting with representatives of UN member states in New York for the first time.......
