CNN said Friday that President Donald Trump's plan to ban the TV network and two other news outlets from the White House was an "illegal assault" on US press freedom. The network said its reporting was "fair and accurate" and was protected under the US Constitution, adding a ban "would be an illegal assault on that fundamental and constitutionally-protected right." bgs/sst ...
