Dollar's Share in SWIFT Payments Hits New Record Exceeding 52%

MOSCOW, September 17 (RIA Novosti) - The US dollar's share in payments via SWIFT reached a new record high of 52.09% in August, rising by 1.1 percentage points over the month, mainly at the expense of the euro and the British pound, according to system data reviewed by RIA Novosti. The previous record high was reported in March, when the dollar's share reached 51.14%. At the same time, the euro's share fell by 0.41 percentage points to 21.37%......
