US Federal Reserve Raises Interest Rate by 0.25 Percentage Points - Statement

WASHINGTON, September 16 (RIA Novosti) - The US Federal reserve announced on Wednesday it had decided to increase the interest rate by 0.25 percentage points, to 3.75%-4%​​​. "The Committee decided to raise the target range for the federal funds rate by 1/4 percentage point to 3-3/4 to 4 percent, in support of the Federal Reserve's dual mandate," the statement read....
