Wadephul in Geneva to bid for German seat on UN Human Rights Council

Geneva (dpa) - Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul plans to campaign for a German seat on the UN Human Rights Council for the 2027-2029 term when he travels to Geneva on Tuesday. Wadephul will meet International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) head Mirjana Spoljaric and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk.
