An Italian appeals court on Friday upheld an order to shut down blast furnaces at one of Europe's largest steelworks before the end of October because of pollution levels. The site formerly known as Ilva, in the southern city of Taranto, has been dogged by legal and political battles since 2012 over toxic emissions.
