Government officials convene to validate National Disaster Risk Management Policy

OTJIWARONGO, 10 September 2026 - A section of Government officials gathering in two-day workshop at Otjiwarongo on Thursday to validate a newly compiled National Disaster Risk Management Policy document which was last reviewed in 2009. The new document seeks to ensure that the country’s disaster risk management policies remain relevant, responsive and align itself with current national and international disaster risk management frameworks.
