Stocks mostly fell on Friday after the US economy created far more jobs than expected last August, making it more likely the Federal Reserve would raise interest rates last to rein in stubbornly high inflation. Fed chairman Kevin Warsh made clear last week he saw rising prices as the main threat to the world's biggest economy, leading many investors to pencil in a rate hike at the central bank's September 16 meeting.
