Singapore commits 88 mln USD to innovation in built environment

SINGAPORE, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Singapore has committed 112 million Singapore dollars (88.28 million U.S. dollars) over the next five years in research and innovation for the built environment, the Building and Construction Authority said on Wednesday. The funding, under Singapore's Research, Innovation and Enterprise 2030 plan, is part of a package of measures announced by Minister for National Development Chee Hong Tat to transform the sector......
