Slovakia to Allocate $35Mln to Farmers to Compensate for Drought Losses — Prime Minister

MOSCOW, September 2 (RIA Novosti) - The Slovak government has approved the allocation of 30 million euros ($34.7 million) from the state budget to farmers to compensate for drought losses, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said on Wednesday. "The proposal to provide funds to compensate for damage caused by drought in 2026 … An agreement was reached between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Finance; 30 million euros will be allocated......
