Germany to Build F127 Frigate Based on Older Platform Due to Lack of Funds - Reports

MOSCOW, September 1 (RIA Novosti) - German defense contractors TKMS and Rheinmetall have abandoned the development of the new F127 frigate due to budget constraints and will instead build it based on the older MEKO A400 export platform, German media reported on Tuesday. The MEKO A400 frigates, developed by TKMS, have been on the market for decades and been exported to several foreign countries, particularly Ebypt, Die Welt newspaper said. Selecti......
