Iran's IRGC Claims Downing of US Drone MQ-9 Over Strait of Hormuz - Reports

MOSCOW, August 31 (RIA Novosti) - Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed the downing of a US drone MQ-9 over the Strait of Hormuz, Press TV reports. In mid-August, the Washington Post reported that the US Army had lost approximately 25% of all MQ-9 Reaper drones during the conflict with Iran. A single MQ-9 Reaper drone costs between $30 million and $50 million, depending on the type of sensors and weapons it carries​​​. The loss......
