Emergency base station near border gate operational at China's mudslide-hit Gyirong Port

BEIJING, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- The first emergency communication base station near the border gate at Gyirong Port on the China-Nepal border in southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region was put into operation at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, according to China Unicom.
