Ferry With 279 Passengers Capsizes Off Cyprus Coast – Reports

CANAKKALE, Turkey, August 30 (RIA Novosti) - A ferry carrying 279 passengers capsized off the northern Cypriot coast on Sunday, the Kibris Postasi newspaper reported. The ferry, which belongs to Filo Denizcilik company, reportedly overturned less than 2 miles away from the city of Kyrenia. The captain said that the vessel was taking on water​​​.
