Colombo Port climbs to 20th place in global container port rankings

COLOMBO, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- The Port of Colombo has climbed six places to rank 20th among the world's busiest container ports, according to the latest rankings for the first half of 2026 released recently by global container shipping information platform Alphaliner.
