Cotton futures close higher

ZHENGZHOU, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Cotton futures closed higher Friday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE). The most active cotton contract for January 2027 delivery gained 45 yuan (about 6.64 U.S. dollars) to close at 17,065 yuan per tonne.
