EU Receives Ukraine's Request for $253Mln for Farmers - Commission

MOSCOW, August 13 (RIA Novosti) - The European Commission has received Ukraine's request for 220 million euros ($253 million) to support Ukrainian farmers and will review the harvest and export situation before deciding on further steps, Commission agriculture spokeswoman Louise Bogey said on Thursday.
