Cameroon hails Lionesses after penalty shootout sends team to WAFCON final

YAOUNDE, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Cameroonian officials and supporters have praised the women's national football team after it advanced to the final of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON). The Indomitable Lionesses edged host Morocco 3-1 on penalties in Rabat on Wednesday night, after 120 minutes ended 0-0 in a tense semi-final. Minister of Sports and Physical Education Narcisse Moulle Kombi called it a "brilliant qualification".......
