German energy provider RWE reports rise in income

Frankfurt (dpa) - German energy company RWE on Thursday reported net income of ?1.557 billion ($ 1.8 billion) for the first half of 2026, compared with ?1.454 billion in the same period last year. Earnings per share for the six-month period stood at ?2.19 versus ?1.98 a year ago.
