France's CAC 40 Hits New Record High, Exceeding 8,700 Points - Trading Data

MOSCOW, August 6 (RIA Novosti) - Major European stock indices are trading higher on Thursday, with France's benchmark CAC 40 hitting a new record high, rising above 8,700 points, according to trading data. As of 7:43 GMT, CAC 40 rose 0.61% from its previous close, reaching 8,722​​​.49 points. Earlier in the day, the index reached 8,727.48 points, a new all-time high.
