Austria sees record high temperature as European heatwave rages on

VIENNA, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- A 41 degrees Celcius temperature record was set in Austria on Tuesday, together with forest fires and low Danube water levels in the Alpine country. The all-time high temperature was measured in the Stammersdorf region in the Austrian capital Vienna on Tuesday afternoon, according to Austria's state broadcaster ORF.
