Tourists Spend Record $11.5Bln in Spain’s Madrid in 1st Half of 2026 - Reports

MOSCOW, August 4 (RIA Novosti) - Foreign tourists spent a record amount of over 10 billion euros ($11.5 billion) visiting Madrid in the first six months of 2026, the ABC news portal reported, citing data from the Spanish Statistical Office (INE). This figure is 11​​​.4% higher compared to the same period in 2025, when tourists spent over 8 billion euros, the report said on Monday.
