China allocates central disaster relief supplies to Shaanxi Province

BEIJING, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- China has dispatched 65,000 disaster relief items to its northwestern Shaanxi Province as heavy rains continue to lash the region, the Ministry of Emergency Management (MEM) said Monday. The aid package includes tents, folding beds, blankets and household emergency kits. The supplies will support local authorities in relief efforts, as well as the evacuation, resettlement and shelter of affected residents. The su......
