1 killed, 2 critically injured in head-on vehicle collision near Tokyo

TOKYO, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- A head-on collision between two passenger vehicles in Japan's Chiba Prefecture, east of Tokyo, on Sunday left one person dead, two others critically injured, and five more hurt, local media reported. The accident occurred at around 3:20 p.m. local time on a municipal road near Omuro in Kashiwa City. One of the vehicles veered off the road and fell into a rice field after the collision, public broadcaster NHK reported.......
