Singapore's labor market continues to expand in Q2 despite global uncertainty

SINGAPORE, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's total employment grew by 10,700 in the second quarter, marking the 19th consecutive quarter of growth, according to advance data released by the Ministry of Manpower. The increase was driven mainly by non-resident employment, particularly in sectors such as construction and manufacturing, while employment among Singapore citizens and permanent residents grew at a slower pace than in the previous quart......
