Serbian Energy Ministry Urges Citizens to Conserve Electricity Due to Heat

BELGRADE, July 31 (RIA Novosti) - Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic-Handanovic urged citizens to conserve electricity due to the onset of a period of high temperatures. The Serbian Interior Ministry's Emergency Management Sector sent out text messages to residents the day before warning them of a prolonged period of high temperatures, reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius, from July 30.
