French Interior Minister Asks Military to Fight Wildfires in Southwest Department

MOSCOW, July 24 (RIA Novosti) - French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez on Friday asked Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu to deploy military resources to fight wildfires in the Gironde department. "I proposed to the Prime Minister, who accepted, to requisition military resources," Nunez told the TF1 television channel.
