The smoke has partially blocked out the sun and the smell of burning from one of Spain's biggest wildfires has engulfed the area. The fire in Guadalajara province, north of Madrid, has been raging for a week and has devastated some 320 square kilometres (125 square miles) of hillside, farmland and scrub. Around 1,200 people were evacuated from more than 30 scattered settlements -- many were given only seconds to flee, and now they dread returning......
