Sri Lanka to inspect all public transport vehicles from September

COLOMBO, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Sri Lanka will begin inspecting the condition of all vehicles used for public transport, including buses, starting in September, the National Council for Road Safety said. Council Chairman Manjula Kularatne told the media on Monday that driver negligence and mechanical defects are the main causes of road accidents involving public transport vehicles.
