Russia's foreign trade surplus rises 9.4 pct in Jan.-May

MOSCOW, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Russia's foreign trade surplus increased by 9.4 percent year on year to 59.1 billion U.S. dollars in the first five months of 2026, according to data released Monday by the country's Federal Customs Service. Russia's total foreign trade turnover reached 295.7 billion dollars in January-May, up 8.3 percent from a year earlier.
