Oman agrees to work with France and UK to keep Strait of Hormuz open

London (PA Media/dpa) - Oman has agreed to work with Britain and France to make sure the Strait of Hormuz remains open, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday. The major shipping lane, through which a fifth of the world's oil flows, was blockaded at the height of the war between Iran, the United States and Israel, driving up global fuel prices.
