German Gov't Revokes Refugee Status of Over 30% of Syrians in May – Reports

MOSCOW, July 2 (RIA Novosti) - The German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) revoked over 30% Syrians of refugee status in May, which is a record number, Der Spiegel magazine reported on Thursday, citing BAMF data. As opposed to 2025, when the office revoked protection status for less than 4% of refugees, 2026 saw this number to grow to 17%, the report said. The increased number is related to enhanced scrutiny of refugees convicted......
