German tool giants Stihl and Kärcher form battery power alliance

Stuttgart (dpa) - German tool manufacturers Stihl and Kärcher are joining forces in a strategic partnership to make their professional-grade equipment compatible with a single shared battery system, the chief executives of the two family-owned companies said on Thursday. The centrepiece of the alliance is a newly developed battery system by Stihl, which will in future be used in the professional equipment of both companies. Stihl makes chainsaws......
